Lahore School Results Still Not Uploaded
The incompetence of the District Education Authority (DEA) Lahore has come under scrutiny after examination results of nearly 400,000 students from government schools were not uploaded on the Student Information System (SIS) App for the academic year 2024–25.
According to official information, 35 out of 36 district education authorities across Punjab have successfully uploaded student results on the SIS App. However, DEA Lahore remains the only district that has failed to complete the process, creating serious administrative and academic challenges.
The results of students from Class 1 to Class 9 were required to be uploaded on the system. Due to the absence of these results on the SIS App, thousands of students are facing difficulties in securing admissions for the next academic session, as the system is mandatory for verification and enrollment.
In response to the situation, the Programme Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU) has taken strict action and summoned all teachers from Lahore’s government schools to attend school today, despite the ongoing holidays. Teachers have been instructed to upload the pending results during official school hours, even though schools are officially closed.
PMIU has further directed that teachers who fail to upload results must appear before the Education Authority office on 2nd January. The department has made it clear that compliance is mandatory.
Officials have warned that any teacher who does not follow these instructions will face disciplinary action under the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline, and Accountability (PEDA) Act. The situation has raised serious concerns regarding administrative efficiency and student welfare in Lahore’s government education system.
