Winter Vacations
Balochistan has officially announced its winter vacation schedule for schools located in the province’s colder regions. According to the Education Department, all government schools in these areas will remain closed for nearly two and a half months starting December 16. The long break is part of the province’s annual plan to safeguard students from harsh winter conditions that make regular schooling difficult.
In Chaman, examinations for junior classes have already begun. Students from classes one to seven started their annual exams on November 16, and the process will continue until November 24. For class 8 students, the Balochistan Board will hold examinations beginning November 24, ensuring that academic activities are completed before the start of the long winter break.
Punjab has also released its schedule for winter vacations. Schools across the province will remain closed from December 23, 2025, to January 11, 2026. All institutions are set to reopen on January 12, resuming the new academic term.
Education authorities in both provinces have instructed school administrations to complete all exams, assessments, and pre-vacation tasks on time to avoid any disruption in the academic calendar.
