BISE Rawalpindi Postpones April 10 Exams at 64 Centers in Rawalpindi City
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi has postponed exams scheduled for April 10 at 64 examination centers located within Rawalpindi city. The decision was made after the district administration announced a local holiday in the city.
According to the official notification issued by BISE Rawalpindi, the postponement only applies to centers located inside Rawalpindi city. Students appearing in exams in other districts and suburban areas under the Rawalpindi board will continue to follow the original examination schedule.
The postponed papers include Urdu Compulsory and Geography of Pakistan for the morning session. In the evening session, students were scheduled to appear in Urdu Compulsory and Urdu for the Dars e Nizami Group.
BISE Rawalpindi has confirmed that a new date for the postponed papers will be announced later. Students whose examination centers are outside Rawalpindi city have been advised to appear for their exams according to the previously announced timetable.
This latest update has created confusion among many students and parents because some candidates will now face delays while others in nearby areas will continue their exams as planned. The split schedule is expected to affect preparation plans for many students under the Rawalpindi board.
The postponement is part of a wider series of changes taking place in Rawalpindi and Islamabad over the last few days. Authorities have already announced temporary closures and schedule changes for schools, colleges, government offices, interviews, and several public services.
Students are advised to stay connected with official BISE Rawalpindi announcements for the latest updates regarding the revised examination date. It is important for students not to rely on unofficial social media reports and instead follow information shared through the board’s official channels.
This week also brought another important update for students in Rawalpindi, as Class 8 students were able to check their results online through the Punjab government portal.
