The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has announced a new date for the Secondary School Certificate examinations in Karachi. According to the latest update, matric exams will now begin from April 10 instead of April 7.
Earlier, the board had planned to hold the annual SSC exams from April 7 to May 2 across Karachi Division. However, the exams have been delayed because the board is shifting from the old manual system to a new digital system.
According to the board, the software application faced technical problems due to heavy load. This created a temporary issue in the examination process. The IT team is currently working to solve the problem and improve the system.
BSEK said that the decision to delay the exams was made to ensure that the examination process remains smooth, organized, and transparent for all students.
The board also confirmed that students will appear in exams at the same examination centres that were already assigned to them. Only the exam dates have been changed.
A revised date sheet is expected to be released soon. Students are advised to stay connected with their schools and regularly check official BSEK updates for the latest examination schedule.
This delay may give students a few extra days to prepare better for their papers. Students should use this additional time wisely and focus on revision, especially for important subjects.
Parents and teachers have also been advised not to worry, as the board is taking steps to make sure the examinations are held properly without any confusion or technical issues.
