SEOUL – Samsung Electronics has officially announced the global availability of its latest flagship devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+, and S26, as well as the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Buds4, and the new Galaxy Book6 laptop lineup. The announcement marks Samsung’s third generation of AI-powered smartphones, designed to deliver smarter and more intuitive experiences for users.
According to Samsung, the newly launched Galaxy S26 series has already generated strong global demand. Pre-order numbers have surpassed previous records, with the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra emerging as the most popular model. The company revealed that more than 70 percent of customers who pre-ordered the S26 lineup opted for the Ultra variant.
Galaxy S26 Ultra Introduces New Privacy Display
The Galaxy S26 Ultra stands out as the flagship model in the lineup, combining performance, advanced AI features, and a new display technology. One of its biggest innovations is the introduction of the world’s first mobile Privacy Display, a feature designed to protect user privacy at a pixel level.
Samsung says the technology combines hardware and software to keep sensitive information on the screen secure while still delivering a normal viewing experience.
The smartphone is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, which offers improvements in CPU, GPU, and AI performance. This allows the phone to run demanding applications, multitask smoothly, and support advanced AI features throughout the day.
Samsung has also expanded its Galaxy AI system with tools like Now Nudge and Now Brief, which provide proactive suggestions, reminders, and contextual information to help users complete tasks more efficiently.
Improved Camera and Editing Features
The Galaxy S26 Ultra also builds on Samsung’s reputation for smartphone photography. Its upgraded camera system integrates capturing, editing, and sharing into a single workflow.
Features such as Nightography video enhance low-light recording, while Super Steady stabilization now includes a horizontal lock option for smoother footage during movement.
On the editing side, AI-powered tools like Photo Assist allow users to modify images simply by describing what they want. Another feature, Creative Studio, enables users to generate custom visuals, stickers, and wallpapers.
Galaxy Buds4 and Book6 Expand the Ecosystem
Alongside the smartphones, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Buds4 series, designed to deliver high-fidelity audio and improved comfort. The earbuds feature a new blade-style design and were developed using millions of data points on ear shapes to improve fit and wearability.
The Buds4 Pro also includes an enhanced adaptive equalizer and advanced active noise cancellation to deliver richer sound. Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Book6 series laptops, powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. The laptops focus on high-performance, AI-ready computing and seamless integration with other Galaxy devices.
The Galaxy S26 lineup became available globally on March 11 through carriers, retailers, and Samsung’s online store, offering multiple color options, including Cobalt Violet, White, Black, and Sky Blue.
With the launch of these devices, Samsung aims to strengthen its ecosystem of AI-powered products that work together across smartphones, wearables, and computers
